Configuring org settings
Not commonly accessed (but not forgotten!) org-wide settings for CommandBar.
Enable/Disable specific features
These options let you disable major features org-wide. Most commonly used with Tenants where you might have different usecases across different orgs.
- Spotlight
- HelpHub
- Copilot
Domain
Primary domain that you use CommandBar. The domain field is used to help make it easier to:
- Test nudges from app.commandbar.com
- Generate nudge shared links
For example, at CommandBar, we use https://app.commandbar.com
since that's the domain of our production app for logged in users.
Releases
Enable the releases feature for your org. Check out the Releases doc for more info.
Analytics Block list
Here you can choose to disable specific events/data from being sent to CommandBar servers. Toggling an option "On" will 'block' the event/data from being sent. Options to block include:
- User inputs and deadends
- Commands
- URLs
- Records
If you've enabled any of the block settings, you might see asterisks the next time you are looking through events in CommandBar analytics. Since we don't have the data, we display asterisks there instead.
If you disable the block list, you'll see asterisks for prior events, since the data was never sent to our analytics servers. New events will contain the data though.
