Nudge Analytics FAQ
What is "Demo data"?
On most of our Analytics dashboards, we include a "Demo data" toggle on top to give you a taste of the analytics power. This data is 100% fake and illustrative. Don't get too excited and post a LinkedIn thirst trap if you see demo data from your hero. Or go for it. We'll keep our lips sealed.
What is "Admin data"?
Admin data is any activity that's created by a user account that's also an admin. Once you've signed in to the Command AI editor extension, we'll tag your browser so that any activity you do from that account (with or without the extension open) is associated as admin data. For techies, we use a local storage key to mark you as an admin.
Why do some users have multiple views on the same Nudge?
Even if your Limit is set to "Once per user", there are ways for a user to see a Nudge more than once!
- The Limit was previously some other value. This can lead to the same user having multiple views, dismisses, and/or strikes.
- Refresh without dismissing/completing. Let's say the Limit was always "Once per user". It's still possible for a user to see your Nudge more than once! If the user (a) didn't dismiss/complete the Nudge; (b) reloaded their page, then we would show the Nudge after reload and count two views.
- In this case, there should only be 1 dismiss or strike per user.
